Job Description

Senior Product Manager – Market Data Feeds

Addepar

• Define and own the product roadmap for Market Data Feeds — balancing feed quality, coverage, and commercial ROI — and set measurable success criteria that hold delivery teams accountable. • Own feed builds end-to-end: from vendor sourcing and data modeling through to production delivery, driving outcomes that directly support client goals. • Develop solutions to strengthen market data operations and deepen the integration of Market and Reference Data across Addepar's products and services. • Identify and close gaps in market data coverage, partnering with clients, sales, and data operations to surface high-impact sourcing opportunities. • Maintain working knowledge of vendor licensing terms and entitlement workflows, ensuring sourcing and onboarding decisions are made with clear visibility into contractual constraints and cost implications. • Partner with the licensing and finance functions to evaluate new data sourcing decisions against profitability, and provide product-level oversight on key licensing transitions (e.g., direct licensing migrations). • Contribute to the evolution of Addepar's Security Master, directly linking Market Data inputs into expanding the richness of information delivered to client and internal product teams. • Work closely with GTM, Sales, and Support to communicate Market Data changes proactively and serve as a product-informed partner on dataset capabilities, feed status, and onboarding timelines. • Understand Addepar's products and clients deeply, using those insights to drive new opportunities that improve client experience.

Job Requirements

  • Extensive relevant work experience and education that demonstrate proficiency in product management and user workflows
  • Deep understanding and familiarity with Market Data vendors (Bloomberg, LSEG, S&P, Morningstar, etc) and how to best source and implement their content
  • Domain expertise regarding market data processing and entitlement workflows, security mastering, and financial products as well as strong knowledge of the financial data ecosystem.
  • Experience with building and launching commercial data products within financial services. Understanding of data governance practices.
  • Ability to work cross functionally, particularly with engineering, operations, and GTM.
  • Practical knowledge of agile thinking and lean practices; creative (non-dogmatic) with project approaches, willingness to experiment, and ability to guide teams toward activities and processes that best suit project goals
  • Ability to identify the appropriate tools and techniques to accomplish objectives
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to query data to find answers to product questions. Experience with Python and Databricks is a plus.
  • Experience and ability using AI tools to drive outcomes as a PM.
  • Ability to set your team up for success through leadership, sense of urgency, accountability, and initiative
  • Ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders (from highly technical to non-technical business colleagues) and work in a cross-functional setting
