This is a true hunter role. You will be responsible for building your territory from the ground up—prospecting, generating pipeline, closing new business, and expanding Wellfit’s payments platform across independent practices and multi-location groups. Own and develop a defined Florida-based territory within a major metro market Build a strategic territory plan targeting high-opportunity practices and groups Establish market presence through consistent in-person engagement Prospect daily through outbound calls, in-person visits, networking, and referrals Identify and close net-new logos across independent practices and multi-location groups Conduct consultative discovery around payments, financing workflows, and revenue optimization Articulate value around merchant services, financing options, and payment workflow optimization Understand and position interchange, merchant pricing, underwriting, and approval processes Compete effectively against legacy financing and payment providers Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets Report territory performance and growth strategy to leadership
Job Requirements
- 5–7+ years of B2B field sales experience
- Payments / merchant services experience strongly preferred
- Experience selling into healthcare or dental is a plus, but not required
- Demonstrated history of exceeding quota
- Based in or willing to relocate to a major Florida metro
- A proven hunter who has built territories before
- Experienced in payments, merchant services, or fintech sales (preferred)
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a field-based role
- Energized by prospecting and new logo acquisition
- Skilled at navigating practice decision-makers (owners, office managers, regional leaders)
- Results-driven and comfortable in a performance-based compensation model
