This description is a summary of our understanding of the job description. Click on 'Apply' button to find out more. Role Description We’re looking for a driven, curious, and disciplined Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us grow our footprint in the manufacturing sector. You’ll be the first line of communication with future customers — identifying prospects, starting conversations, and creating qualified pipeline for our Account Executives. This is not a smile-and-dial role. It’s about insight-driven selling: understanding complex manufacturing challenges, mapping them to our technology, and positioning Overview.ai as the partner that can solve them. What You’ll Do - Identify, research, and engage new manufacturing prospects using phone, email, and LinkedIn. - Qualify inbound and outbound leads, and schedule discovery calls and demos for AEs. - Partner with marketing to refine messaging and campaigns that resonate with engineers and operations leaders. - Track all outreach and insights in HubSpot — precision and consistency matter here. - Stay sharp on industry trends, emerging automation technologies, and competitor movements. - Hit and exceed activity and pipeline goals — while contributing ideas to improve the process. Qualifications - Top performer in prior sales or BDR roles, ideally in tech, SaaS, and manufacturing. - Strong commercial instincts — you can identify pain points and connect them to value fast. - Confident communicator across multiple channels and seniority levels. - Grit, organization, and follow-through. You close loops, not leave threads. - Deep curiosity about technology, manufacturing, and AI — you want to learn, fast. - Experience with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or Nooks is a plus. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Benefits - Unlimited PTO – we care about results, not hours. - Comprehensive health benefits – medical, dental, and vision. - Remote-first flexibility – work anywhere with a stable network. - Direct access to leadership – collaborate with founders and senior execs. - Career acceleration – be part of a team that scales fast and promotes from within.
