In this role, you will provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide and in the Western Region, and it offers great growth potential. Posting Locations for this role: Chicago, Lisle, Normal, Peoria, or Springfield, IL or St. Louis, MO What You'll Do: - Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems. - Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems. - Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services. - Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team. • Visit Construction Sites and Document Progress and Readiness for Interior Casework Installation. • Educate and coordinate with general contractors and owners on how to be ready for an efficient casework installation. • Coordinate access, storage, readiness, schedule, phasing, hoisting, jobsite rules, etc. • Attend jobsite progress meetings. • Perform Quality Control Inspections of Casework Installation. • Enforce adherence to Nycom installation standards. • Coordinate with Project Management Contract and schedule installation subcontractors. • Enforce safety policies and jobsite cleanup. • Coordinate deliveries of materials. • Take field dimensions at jobsites. • Evaluate schedule progress and ensure adequate manpower. • Develop punchlists and ensure proper and timely completion of installations. • Update Project Managers on the status of projects. • Responsible for completing each project on time and within budget. • Travel 50%.

• Take directions from more senior-level engineers to assist with design related tasks while gaining experience and learning the skills necessary to carry out successful projects. • Review project-related design documents, such as fabrication shop drawings, for completion and errors. • Help model various structures using finite element modeling to be used for design. • Review various design codes to apply the appropriate design standards. • Perform value engineering design analyses to determine the most cost-competitive design. • Project site-visits to inspect construction quality are possible on occasion. • Interest in using several different structural design codes including IBC, ACI, ASCE 7, AISC, etc. • AutoCAD and/or finite element analysis experience is preferred. • Must be willing to travel to project locations for short durations (typically one to two days per trip) around the U.S. at least a few times per year. • Must have the ability to walk on and inspect structural reinforcement.

• Assist with structural inspections, evaluations, investigations, and condition assessments of existing buildings. • Perform structural analysis and assist in developing repair and retrofit solutions for concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structures. • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and project documentation. • Support the development of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates. • Participate in site investigations and field inspections, including work from scaffolding and lifts as needed. • Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams throughout all phases of a project. • Assist with permitting and regulatory filing documentation. • Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD. • Support construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site observations. • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure work complies with applicable building codes and company quality standards.
