Senior Specialist, Project Control and Project Controlling in Plant Engineering

• Develop, enhance and maintain integrated project schedules for complex industrial and plant engineering projects across all project phases (from planning through execution) • Coordinate and integrate sub-schedules from all project stakeholders (engineering, procurement, construction, and external partners) into a consolidated master schedule • Perform schedule control including analysis of project progress, critical paths, and variances against the baseline schedule • Prepare schedule and progress reports and identify and communicate risks, opportunities and recommended actions to project management and the project team • Support project management with scheduling strategies, change management and assessing project impacts on milestones and the overall schedule • Apply and further develop lean methods and best practices in schedule management to optimize project workflows • Facilitate scheduling and control workshops and serve as the central interface for all scheduling-related topics within the project • Ensure the quality, consistency and traceability of all schedule-related data and documentation

Job Requirements

  • Degree in engineering (e.g. civil engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering)
  • Several years of professional experience in schedule management, ideally in industrial, plant engineering or energy projects
  • Solid experience in developing and controlling complex project schedules and in project management methods such as the Critical Path Method
  • Preferable: experience in EPC/EPCM projects and working with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Structured, responsible and analytical work style with a strong solution orientation and ability to maintain an overview in complex project situations
  • Excellent knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Experience in schedule control, reporting and analysis of project metrics
  • Very good German and good English skills, confident use of MS Office and willingness to travel as required by project needs
