• Be part of a team involved in simulation of groundwater flow, surface water, and contaminant transport projects. • Projects include tunnel and mine dewatering, tailings migration assessments, evaluation of injection and production well fields, aquifer evaluation, and various projects related to geotechnical, resource management, contaminated land and infrastructure projects, and environmental impact assessments. • Play a role in field investigations, conceptual model development, problem assessment, analytical and numerical modelling, project communication and project management.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Geological / Environmental / Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience.
- A post-graduate degree is an asset.
- Must have experience using FEFLOW (3D), GeoStudio (CTRAN/W, SEEP/W, SEEP3D, SLOPE/W).
- Experience with GeoModeller and Leapfrog is an asset.
- Knowledge of French language is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication is required; French language skills are an asset.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities.
- Good interpersonal skills combined with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work within a team and solitarily with limited oversight.
