Fullstack Developer, PHP

• Develop and evolve the platform • Design, develop and maintain backend services in PHP/Symfony • Contribute to the evolution of the payment platform and the integration of new features • Maintain and improve the quality and readability of the existing codebase • Design and maintain robust, scalable APIs • Contribute to technical architecture and technology decisions • Optimize the performance and stability of services • Implement and maintain unit and integration tests • Analyze and resolve production incidents • Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices • Apply security best practices related to payment systems • Help maintain infrastructure that complies with industry standards • Use AI-assisted development tools to optimize development workflows • Participate in integrating these tools into the engineering team’s practices
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in PHP development (minimum 5 years)
- Proficiency with a modern MVC framework, ideally Symfony
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Strong foundations in software architecture and object-oriented programming
- Solid knowledge of MySQL and complex SQL queries
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools, notably Claude Code
- Experience with Docker
- Good professional command of English
- Experience in the payments industry or financial services (PSP)
