AI Security & Trust Engineering Manager
3E
Role Description We are looking for an AI Security & Trust Engineering Manager to help operationalize trust across the company by partnering with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, AI, and Compliance teams to embed scalable security, governance, and trust into the systems that power our business. This role involves: - Creating and leading a virtual Trust Engineering capability across 3E. - Ensuring trust becomes an integrated part of how we build—not an afterthought. - Leading cross-functional AI Security & Trust Engineering initiatives through influence, collaboration, and operational excellence. - Translating security and trust strategy into clear execution plans, measurable outcomes, and shared ownership models. - Partnering with engineering teams to embed trust, security, and governance into AI-enabled products, platforms, and delivery workflows. - Coaching and mentoring engineers on modern trust engineering practices, secure AI development, automation, continuous assurance, and scalable security controls. - Replacing manual processes with automated, repeatable, and resilient trust mechanisms. - Driving operational excellence through documentation, reusable platforms, and engineering best practices. - Establishing meaningful metrics, operational feedback loops, and leading indicators that improve both security posture and engineering effectiveness. - Helping operationalize AI governance and customer trust initiatives across the organization. - Influencing stakeholders across multiple teams to remove friction, improve execution, and reduce organizational risk. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience. - 6+ years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, AI engineering, cloud engineering, or related technical disciplines. - 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or influencing engineers in matrixed or cross-functional environments. - Strong understanding of modern trust engineering, AI security, automation, continuous assurance, system-enforced controls, and scalable risk reduction. - Experience delivering complex technical initiatives by influencing stakeholders across multiple teams. - Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. - A passion for using AI to solve meaningful business problems—not simply as a productivity tool. Requirements - Experience building AI-enabled workflows, intelligent automation, AI agents, or enterprise AI platforms. - Experience leading engineering initiatives within SaaS, cloud-native, platform, or highly automated environments. - Background in infrastructure or platform engineering before moving into security. - Experience supporting governance, compliance, or customer trust initiatives such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or ISO 42001. - Experience building engineering metrics, governance models, and operational frameworks that improve predictability and shared ownership. - Industry certifications are welcome but not required.
