• Evaluate all information supplied on the mortgage loan application • Verify the validity of the information • Assemble completely documented files to Underwriting and Closing • Act as the primary liaison between the loan officer, loan officer assistant, realtors, builders, and the customer(s)
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year mortgage banking experience as a processor or junior processor, required.
- Must have working knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and FHA/VA policies and guidelines, as well as, Regulatory Mortgage Compliance, state, federal, local government, private investors and insurers.
- Must have working knowledge, or the ability to learn all operating systems and possess the ability to facilitate training.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, with the ability to learn other mortgage-related programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel, as well as realtors, sales agents, builders, appraisers, title companies, etc.
- Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability.
- Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours; arriving at scheduled reporting time and at the prescribed time after any breaks or lunch periods.
- Must be able to work overtime, as required.

Role Description Excellent opportunity to grow your career remotely within an Australian mortgage broking firm. Join a supportive company with a clear pathway to a manager position! This role owns the loan file from packaging and submission through to settlement and the post-settlement and ongoing maintenance cycle. The role packages and submits applications in AOL across all structures, manages admin-side requests during assessment, drives doc sign-up, coordinates settlement and confirms funds and account setup land correctly. It carries the ongoing repricing cycle across the whole book. The role sits between the submissions function and the credit officer, with credit-critical decisions and final calls escalating to the Director. It is built to grow into an operations manager position.
