Temporary Special Projects Coordinator

• Own the day-to-day execution of assigned projects, events, productions, and special projects from kickoff to completion. • Track timelines, deliverables, and follow up actions to make sure projects stay on and are completed on schedule. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, teams, vendors, consultants, and partner organizations to move projects forward and resolve operational bottlenecks. • Maintain clear communication regarding project status, risks, and next steps. • Manage logistics for training/educational programming, livestreams, events, meetings, and member-facing programs, including scheduling, materials, vendor coordination, and run-of-show preparation. • Ensure projects are delivered with a high level of quality and attention to detail. • Maintain project documentation, trackers, calendars, and reporting. • Create and manage workflows that improve efficiency. • Execute established team strategies and identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce friction, and increase effectiveness. • Gather feedback and project learnings to inform future work and operational improvements.
Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, operations, program management, event production, campaign execution, or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, mission-driven, nonprofit, advocacy, political, or community-based environment preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders, provide clear updates, and ensure alignment across projects.
- Experience managing events, training, productions, campaigns, or member/community engagement programs.

• Own and manage SBU specific supplier development KPIs, including both leading and lagging indicators, to track supplier performance, risk, and maturity • Participate in SBU staff meetings to represent supplier development priorities and communicate strategic alignment • Lead and support SBU tiered meetings, providing clear updates on supplier development efforts, escalations, and impact on critical programs • Engage with Value Stream Leaders (VSLs) and SBU stakeholders to align resource prioritization and supplier strategy to improve supplier performance and development focus • Serve as the focal representative for the SBU regarding supplier quality, delivery, or readiness issues • Act as an escalation point of contact for teams as needed • Act as a functional interface between SBU operations and GSD, ensuring clear handoffs, alignment, and feedback loops • Support SBU based program planning, ensuring supplier capacity and development actions align with SBU execution or NPI ramp up timelines • Engage and align with cross-functional program committees to support integrated supplier development strategies across the business • Facilitate the development of Supplier Development Plans (SDP) executed within the assigned SBU, working closely with GSD and commodity leaders to drive strategic alignment • Drive collaboration across multiple partners (Sourcing, Engineering, Quality, Operations) to drive supplier performance improvements • Ability to support suppliers as needed up to 50% of time
