Topographic Surveyor

• Conduct initial site surveys of newly acquired plots and development sites, documenting existing terrain, infrastructure, boundaries, elevations, and overall site conditions prior to construction commencement. • Perform regular monthly site visits to active construction projects worldwide to execute as-built surveys and monitor construction progress. • Verify and document the accuracy of executed works compared to architectural drawings, engineering plans, BIM models, and approved construction documentation. • Identify deviations, inconsistencies, construction tolerances, and potential technical issues between the designed project and the actual built conditions. • Produce detailed survey reports, progress documentation, measurements, photographic records, and technical assessments for internal technical and management teams. • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, contractors, and technical consultants to ensure project execution aligns with design intent and quality standards. • Maintain accurate records of project status, progress milestones, and survey data across all active developments. • Support quality control processes by ensuring construction accuracy, dimensional compliance, and adherence to project specifications. • Utilize modern surveying technologies and software, including GPS/GNSS equipment, total stations, drones, laser scanning, CAD, and BIM-related tools. • Travel extensively internationally to oversee and inspect multiple luxury construction projects simultaneously.
Job Requirements
- Degree or technical certification in, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in construction surveying, as-built verification, or site inspection within high-end residential, hospitality, or luxury developments.
- Strong understanding of architectural and engineering drawings, construction methodologies, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with surveying equipment and software platforms.
- Ability to interpret and compare as-built conditions against design documentation with high precision.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary international teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide.
- Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.

• The position is 100% remote with up to 75% travel. • The Surveyor will serve as a team member or team leader on various types of surveys (i.e. re-certification, comparative, complaint investigation, and revisits) for long-term care and non-long-term care surveys. • Surveys require preparations such as off-site preparation, tour of the facility, observation of care, record review, interviews of staff and families, etc. • Determine if care, treatment, and services are consistent with Federal requirements. • Evaluate many aspects of the healthcare facility system from quality of care to consumers’ rights and physical plant. • Communicate the non-compliance issues with key personnel throughout the site review and during the exit conference. • Determine if a plan of correction is acceptable. • Conduct follow-up visits and monitoring surveys to ascertain if facilities’ plans of correction to resolve the deficient practice have been implemented. • Assist with facility and bureau training. Participate in work groups as needed.
