With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award-winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers! 🔑 You’ll play a key role by: - Being there for our customers when they need us the most. - Guiding customers, creating a pathway out of financial hardship. - Supporting the growth and development of more junior team members. - Helping to deliver a number of strategic changes which consistently lead to good customer outcomes. - Working with analysts, product managers, engineers, and operations staff across Monzo to implement proposed changes. - Using qualitative and quantitative data sources to analyze the impact of recent changes. - Working with external partners to ensure they adhere to Monzo’s standards. - Documenting and using data to ensure the execution of our strategy is in line with expectations. Qualifications - Experience of working with external partners including relationship management and auditing. - Experience in Collections and Recoveries strategies. - Understanding of the regulatory landscape including CONC, SYSC, Consumer Duty and the CCA. - Leadership experience (directly or indirectly) and ability to drive forward strategic projects. - Ability to identify, articulate and mitigate risks associated with strategic changes. - Strong judgement and ability to make trade-offs between what is desired and what is feasible. - Proven ability to gain approval for proposed business changes. - Highly resourceful and a self-starter; excels at researching and mapping out unfamiliar regulatory frameworks. - Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous and changing company. - Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, risk, operations and finance teams. - Collaborative, strategic problem solver who loves working hard towards a deadline. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field. - Minimum of three (3) years of senior finance leadership experience in a healthcare organization. - Strong understanding of medical billing, collections, payment posting, revenue cycle, third-party payers, Medicare, and Oregon and federal payer regulations. - Working knowledge of HIPAA, billing and insurance regulations, medical terminology, insurance benefits, and appeal processes. - Knowledge of business management and basic accounting principles. - Experience supervising, training, organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work to meet operational and financial timelines. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. - Strong organization, attention to detail, critical thinking, professional judgment, and the ability to work independently with frequent interruptions. - Ability to communicate calmly, respectfully, transparently, and professionally with staff, patients, partners, payers, and other stakeholders.
