Medical Director, gMG – Rare Disease

• Provide medical/scientific strategic and operational expertise into the planning and execution of the medical support activities of UPLIZNA with a focus on generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) • Provide medical input into the long-term vision for the Medical Affairs area to enable health care professionals to receive appropriate medical information • Work closely with Research and Development, Access, Commercial, Outcomes Research, and Publications • Coordinate cross functional Medical Affairs resources to develop conference/pub plans, evidence generation strategy, OL engagement plans, and HCP disease state awareness education. • Communicate and partner with key external therapeutic experts (HCPs) to provide and support high level clinical education. • Provide subject matter expertise including the utilization of key clinical data and medical trends to effectively differentiate the products and services to marketing teams.
Job Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 4 years of Medical Affairs and/or Neurology experience
- Or Master’s degree and 8 years of Medical Affairs and/or Neurology experience
- Or Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of Medical Affairs and/or Neurology experience
- Relevant clinical therapeutic experience preferred; focus in Neurology
- Experience in gMG a plus
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Experience with digital health strategies, data platforms, and innovative engagement tools is considered a strong asset, enabling effective integration of digital approaches into medical strategy and stakeholder engagement.
- Understands their audience; available and able to engage people with varying degrees of scientific background in a meaningful and clear dialogue.
- Demonstrates ability to relate and work with a wide range of people to achieve results.
- Able to demonstrate problem solving and risk mitigation skills.
