Financial Controller

Atomi

• Own the annual budgeting framework, drive forecasting, planning and performance analysis, and support the Co-CEOs with investor reporting, performance updates and strategic materials. • Oversee day to day accounting functions, including monthly, quarterly and yearly close, accounts payable/receivable, cash management and financial reporting. • Manage transactional finance, including bank approvals, treasury, contract reviews and interest rate optimisation. • Build and maintain the financial policies and controls that support Atomi's growth, and look for ways AI and automation can make reporting faster, cleaner and more useful to the business. • Coach and develop your two direct reports, building on a team that already has stable foundations and a clear way of working. • Partner closely with stakeholders across the business to drive cost control and operational efficiency, and constructively challenge decisions with solid financial strategy.

Job Requirements

  • CA or CPA qualification, with deep experience across financial control and operations, ideally in a SaaS startup, tech industry or high-growth business.
  • A track record you can speak to clearly: you're able to articulate the achievements and impact you've driven in past roles.
  • A genuine sense of responsibility for your team, and a real interest in coaching and developing the people who report to you.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable partnering with and influencing people across all parts of the business.
  • Exceptional analytical, modelling and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to lead budget and forecasting cycles end-to-end.
  • An entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset that's comfortable with ambiguity, from BAU processes right through to larger strategic initiatives.
