AI Automation Engineer – Enablement Lead

BELAY

• Design, build, implement, and maintain scalable AI-powered automations, integrations, and workflow solutions that support operational efficiency across the organization • Develop and support automation solutions using technologies such as Python, SQL, APIs, orchestration tools, and AI platforms • Lead the ongoing administration, optimization, and support of BELAY’s internal AI and automation tools and systems • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify workflow inefficiencies and develop scalable automation and AI-driven solutions • Translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and business impact of automation and AI initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, systems integration, or related technical fields
  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining workflow automations, integrations, or scalable technical solutions in production environments
  • Experience with Python, SQL, APIs, workflow orchestration tools, automation platforms, and AI-enabled technologies
  • Strong understanding of automation, systems design, workflow optimization, and AI implementation best practices
  • Ability to evaluate technical solutions and communicate tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and process improvement skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, actionable language
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and cross-functional initiatives simultaneously
