Associate Life & Waiver Examiner
Symetra
Role Description In this role, you’ll review and process Group Life, AD&D, and Waiver of Premium claims. You’ll ensure accurate decisions and payments, verify eligibility, and provide compassionate service to policyholders and beneficiaries. What You Will Do - Evaluate claims based on policy provisions and regulatory requirements. - Communicate with policyholders and beneficiaries to gather documentation. - Maintain clear, defensible claim records. - Issue accurate payments and conduct annual reviews for waiver claims. - Collaborate with legal and medical teams when needed. Compensation Hourly Range: $22.00 - $29.98 plus eligibility for annual bonus program Qualifications - High school diploma required. - 1+ years of experience preferred. - Medical background a plus. - Strong attention to detail and time management. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team. - Comfort with multiple systems and willingness to learn.
