Role Description DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a Voice Director with native fluency in Spanish (Spain) to support an upcoming Text-to-Speech (TTS) development project. In this role, you will oversee remote recording sessions through our proprietary platform, providing real-time guidance to voice talents to ensure: - Accurate pronunciation - Natural delivery - Consistency across recording sessions - Adherence to project guidelines Responsibilities - Monitor remote recording sessions - Provide real-time coaching on pronunciation, tone, pacing, prosody, enunciation, and natural speech delivery - Verify compliance with project guidelines and recording standards - Ensure recordings accurately follow the provided scripts - Verify that recordings reflect authentic contemporary Spanish (Spain) - Identify and report technical or environmental issues that may affect recording quality, including background noise, distortion, clipping, microphone artifacts, or other recording defects Qualifications - Native fluency in Spanish (Spain) - Good English communication skills - Professional experience directing voice talents or demonstrable expertise in spoken Spanish (Spain) - Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills - Professional experience in at least one of the following areas: - Voice direction or voice acting - Linguistics (preferably with a focus on phonetics, phonology, or sociolinguistics) - Speech technology - Voice coaching Preferred Role Requirements - Previous experience directing Text-to-Speech (TTS) projects - Knowledge of phonetics and speech production - Experience working on speech, voice, or language-related projects - Familiarity with remote recording platforms or digital audio production workflows Work Location - Remote in Europe Engagement Model - Independent Contractor/Freelance Estimated Workload - 13 hours Estimated Project Duration - 2 weeks, with the possibility of extension Estimated Start Date - July 7 Language Needed - Spanish (Spain) - English
