• Write functional specifications and design specifications for system software • Implement solutions to small-sized problems in the system software using C, C++, and python • Write test plan specifications and implement automated test programs • Debug problems found by automated test programs • Work with Customer Support Engineers to analyze and provide fixes for customer network problems • Mentor new and junior engineers and review specifications of team members • Create and update implementation schedules
