Verification of Employment Representative

Role Description The Verification of Employment (VOE) Representative is responsible for accurately verifying employment history for borrowers by following all policies and procedures. This role will provide effective customer service for all customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and services as well as communicating effectively with team members within the Verification of Employment Department. This is a full-time work-from-home position, Monday - Friday, with an average of 40 hours per week. We are hiring for a few different shifts: - SHIFT 1 - 9:00 am to 5:30 pm ET - SHIFT 2 - 9:30 am to 6:00 pm ET - SHIFT 3 - 10:00 am to 6:30 pm ET - SHIFT 4 - 11:30 am to 8:00 pm ET - SHIFT 5 - 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm ET First preference will be given to candidates who are flexible between the hours of 11:30-8:00 pm ET or 12:30-9:00 pm ET and/or are based in the Mountain or Pacific time zones. A laptop and work equipment will be provided! #LI-REMOTE Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent. - At least 1-3 years’ relevant experience in a similar capacity or relative entry level business or customer service experience. - Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, customers, and co-workers. Requirements - Accurately verify employment history for borrowers by following all policies and procedures. - Analyze data to spot anomalies with the returned verifications. - Respond to incoming calls and e-requests timely and accurately. - Meet productivity and quality goals set by the department. - Follow all workflows and appropriately document orders. - Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer calls/electronic requests. - Assist other team members as needed. - Participate in skills training, as requested. - Adhere to, and maintain compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws and Universal policies and procedures. - Ensure safety and confidentiality of Employees, property, and data.
