• Develop features in Java applications with support from the team • Perform evolutionary and corrective maintenance on systems • Assist in creating and maintaining automated tests (unit and integration) • Use Artificial Intelligence tools to support development (code generation, testing and problem analysis) • Support integrations with APIs and external partners • Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with the team • Help analyze the impact of changes on existing systems • Contribute to continuous improvements (performance, quality and code organization) • Work with source control and CI/CD pipelines • Support technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Job Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Java (OOP, data structures)
- Understanding of API development (REST)
- Familiarity with databases (basic SQL)
- Basic knowledge of version control with Git
- Basic knowledge of unit testing
- Interest in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Eagerness to learn and grow technically

• You will be part of an exciting ecosystem, participating with federal employees and other contractors, in a team-based DevOps approach to deliver mission value cost-effectively and responsively, and collaboratively with other companies to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems. • You will exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints. • You will participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.
