Job Description

Senior Software Engineer, Computational Engineering

Divergent

• Design, implement, test and deploy algorithmic solutions for LBPF toolpath generation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and propose new solutions to improve material quality and print productivity via software solutions • Integrate engineering software into the broader factory application infrastructure • Contribute to code reviews, and produce robust code solutions that can be used in a manufacturing production environment • Contribute to CI/CD workflows to containerize and automate deployments

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science (or related) + 5 years of professional software-engineering experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in C++ for production codebases.
  • Strong mathematical background and an understanding of computational geometry.
  • Familiarity with Python.
  • Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and cloud-native architecture.
