Medical Assistant I – Virtualist Program

• Assist in the delivery of high quality, safe clinical care • Enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency through collaboration • Take patient vital signs and document medical history in EMR system • Provide patients and families medical information for positive patient satisfaction
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program OR Has obtained a Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA) OR Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Achieves and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association, within 90 days of hire
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Basic computer skills
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
