Title Reviewer

• Preparing, reviewing, and filing legal documents • Managing foreclosure files and tracking case progress • Communicating with clients, courts, vendors and other outside parties in a courteous and effective manner. • Data entry, document processing, and file maintenance • Supporting attorneys and other team members with daily tasks • Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations • Performing general administrative duties as needed • Developing and maintaining congenial relationships with business associates and clients. • Consistently and accurately updating the firm’s internal case management system, as well as all client systems. • Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction. • Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a legal, real estate, or financial services setting is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Minimum of a High School Diploma; preferably an associate’s degree in legal services or finance.
- 2 years of relevant work experience preferred but the right candidate with less experience may be considered.
- Title review experience a plus.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with borrower, clients, attorneys, other internal employees, and outside parties.
- Must be able to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
- Must possess exceptional organizational skills; the position requires the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change.
- Ability to read and write at a high level for proof reading and editing purposes.
- High-level proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Proficiency in internet research activities.
- Familiarity with case and document management software
- Experience with client systems such as Loansphere, Lenstar, Clairfire, Tempo, Vendorscape and others is preferred.
- Good understanding of the legal process surrounding foreclosure preferred.
- Experience with review of title reports and identifying chain of title issues is a plus
- Ability to proficiently operate computer, fax machine, scanner, photocopier, typewriter, and telephone is required.
