• Develop the Tailscale product, contributing to client code and backend services • Bring a special focus on our Windows platform, building and maintaining our Windows client using WinUI/Windows App SDK stack • Implement support for the latest Windows platform features while maintaining compatibility with older versions • Develop and optimize product features on Windows, focusing on UI components and platform integration • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using Microsoft Testing Platform v2 and xUnit • Contribute to common, cross-platform Tailscale code
Job Requirements
- Four or more years of experience in software development
- Strong understanding of software development principles, capabilities, and limitations of the Windows platform
- Proficiency in C# and modern native UI frameworks (WinUI/UWP/WPF)
- Experience with general networking concepts - DNS, VPNs, IP Networking, routing, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to give and process constructive feedback, as well as work independently

Location: REMOTE, OR COLUMBIA FALLS, MONTANA, OR DOTHAN, ALABAMA Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Engineering design and detailing on Mass Timber projects, including preliminary engineering, design assist support, and deferred submittals. - FEA modeling, analysis, and design of Mass Timber projects using Dlubal FEA Software. - Develop clear and organized engineering calculation packages. - Technical expertise with Mass Timber products, engineering concepts, and detailing. - Complete take-offs and order of fasteners, hangers, brackets, and other miscellaneous components that are part of the Mass Timber installation package. - Support Engineering staff with the development of technical documents, white papers, and calculations templates. - Support Sales staff with technical review, documentation, and client management. - Support Project Managers with the successful delivery of mass timber projects. - Support Research and Development with technical review, documentation, and client management. - Support Design staff with the development of Mass Timber submittal drawings, shop drawings, and production drawings. - Support Quality Control/Quality Assurance process on project submittals prior to delivery for submittal review, production, and construction. - Coordinate project information with project design team (architect, engineer, contractor). - Manage and track project RFI’s. • Lead the deployment and configuration of software solutions in secure, classified environments in support of US government customers.
