Macro Research Analyst
Binance
• Produce and own institutional-grade research across macro, crypto, and Binance-related themes, developing original ideas, frameworks, and new methodologies, including work that connects the macro and traditional-finance backdrop to the crypto economy. • Build rigorous models and clear visualizations from market data, public on-chain data, and other sources to support the team's research and decision-making across the business. • Act as a proactive thought leader: stay ahead of market trends, risks, and opportunities, form original views early, and help shape the conversation on the themes that matter to the market and to Binance, from the macro backdrop and market structure to tokenization, DeFi, and institutional adoption. • Work with teams across the business to track and align narratives, ensuring their market developments roll up into the team's research, and the team's research in turn feeds Binance's broader narrative and supports their goals. • Build the team's external research network and share insights across the industry, amplifying the reach and distribution of research content and strengthening its positioning.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years in crypto research or a closely related role, or 5+ years in consulting, venture capital, or traditional finance, such as investment banking, asset management, or capital markets.
- A deep understanding of macro and markets, and a feel for how the macro and traditional-finance backdrop connects to the crypto economy
- A track record of original thinking: forming differentiated views, building new frameworks, and shaping the narratives that set the agenda.
- Ability to source, clean, and structure large datasets from multiple sources: including market data providers, and proprietary internal data, to produce publication-ready analysis.
- Proficiency in data processing and analysis tools for financial modeling; Python or R for data manipulation and visualization, and familiarity with SQL or data querying is a plus.
- Self-driven and collaborative, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus; CFA is a plus.
