Job Requirements
- An active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in the state of New York
- National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Prescriptive authority and an active DEA registration
- Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications (under supervision or independently)
- Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other digital tools
- A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office setup for confidential virtual sessions
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Strong clinical judgment in managing psychiatric conditions across diverse populations
- A patient-centered approach to medication management and treatment planning
- Experience collaborating with therapists and other providers as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Commitment to equity in mental health access for Medicaid populations
