Role Description Electrical Engineers at Kiewit are the driving force behind the power, control, and energy systems that keep some of North America’s most ambitious industrial and infrastructure projects running. We are adding both Senior and Principal level Electrical Engineers to our team to support a broad scope of projects within our Industrial sector. We are open to considering full time candidates in one of our Kiewit offices listed below or will consider candidates remotely, on a contract basis. Experience with detailed design, leading others, a PE and US Citizenship is required. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university. - Professional Engineering License is required. - At least 10+ years’ experience performing Electrical engineering design for Industrial facilities (which could include Chemical plants, Mining/Mineral Processing, Power, Water/Wastewater, Processing plants, Advanced manufacturing plants, data centers, EV Battery). - Must have advanced experience with ETAP simulation/analysis (or similar software). - Experience with SmartPlant, or similar software for design. - Must have experience with FEED, D/B, EPC designs, familiar with 30/60/90% completion design progression. - Experience leading electrical projects is required, as well as experience leading and mentoring more junior engineers. - Experience in field construction or startup and previous experience directing junior engineers is desirable. - Due to the nature of some of our work, supporting nuclear projects, US Citizenship is required.
