Role Description As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of purchasing activities that keep our teams equipped to serve communities with excellence. Typically, responsible for managing multiple Government procurements in support of multiple Government Programs. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure subcontractors meet delivery schedules, quality standards, and cost requirements. - Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, finance, and program management, to ensure subcontract requirements are clearly understood and support program needs. - Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks associated with subcontracting activities. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address these risks, minimizing impact on project delivery and costs. - 25% Travel to supplier site locations. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant subcontracts experience. - Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related subcontracts experience. - In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related subcontracts experience. Requirements - Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly and ATP processes. - Experience interpreting program management, engineering and supplier demands in a continuously changing environment with minimal guidance. - Working capability in the use of typical office computer programs for conduct of program management such as MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word. - Experience in supporting supplier contracts above the TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance.
