ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be one of the first people on the ground in South America, helping establish Halter's presence across the region and owning what great support looks like for producers in Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil for the first time. You'll be working with producers who care deeply about their land, their animals, and their livelihoods. Support at Halter isn’t a call centre. It’s a team of problem-solvers and educators who understand our customers, their animals, our product, and how everything connects. We’re the glue between customers and every part of the business, from field teams to product, engineering, and operations across the United States,, Australia, New Zealand, and now South America. You’ll work both reactively and proactively: jumping in fast when something’s not right, and reaching out when ranchers just need a hand or some guidance. When someone gets in touch, you’ll take ownership from start to finish - listening, understanding what’s needed, and working with teams across Halter to drive the best outcomes on ranch. This is for you if you want to be part of a regional team working alongside a global Customer organisation, building world-class support in South America from the ground up. WHAT YOUR DAY COULD LOOK LIKE - Talking directly with ranchers through chat and phone - understanding what’s happening on ranch and helping them get things back on track fast. - Troubleshooting issues and using data, tools, and your own judgment to solve problems that matter. - Digging into Support team data, spotting patterns, and raising insights and improvement opportunities that continuously ensure we’re delivering a world-class experience for ranchers and animals. - Working closely with our Field, Onboarding, and Product teams to make sure every customer experience is seamless. - Taking ownership from start to finish - following up, keeping ranchers in the loop, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. - Owning your performance metrics, including response times, satisfaction scores, and quality of support. - Getting out on ranch regularly - seeing Halter in action and understanding the real impact of your work. - Bridging the gap between our South American customers and global teams, helping shape how Halter serves a region you understand deeply. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles. - Full professional fluency in Spanish and English - you’re equally comfortable switching between both. - A genuine obsession with customer outcomes and creating better experiences for ranchers and their animals. - An understanding of the ranching or livestock industry, especially extensive grazing systems. - Familiarity with the South American beef or dairy sector across Argentina, Uruguay, or Brazil. - Curiosity - you don’t stop at the first answer, you dig deeper to understand why. - The ability to bring calm to chaos and stay steady under pressure. - Energy, joy, and a collaborative spirit - you like being part of a tight team that has each other’s backs. - Strong relationship-building skills with customers, teammates, and cross-functional partners. - Proactivity and ownership - if something needs doing, you do it. - Comfort with learning complex systems and picking up new tools fast. - A genuine interest in using data to find insights and improve the way support works. Role Description We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist who has experience with durable medical equipment OR pharma OR medical device for items like: - Insulin pumps (like Tandem devices) - Continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) - Oxygen equipment - Wheelchairs and walkers - Hospital beds - CPAP machines This is a fully remote role.
