Software Development Engineer 3 – SDE 3

MelodyArc

• Design, build, test, and operate scalable backend services that power MelodyArc's orchestration and workflow capabilities. • Partner with the CTO to run, improve, and standardize the code review process. • Review designs and code for peers and mentor engineers. • Lead the technical delivery of multi-sprint initiatives. • Drive system design for reliability, performance, and scalability. • Build secure, compliant solutions aligned to SOC 2 practices. • Own production readiness and participate in incident response. • Partner closely with Product, DevOps, and customer stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, including hands-on development with NodeJS and TypeScript.
  • 4+ years of experience in the design and architecture of new and existing systems.
  • Demonstrable experience leading technical projects.
  • Experience operating production services.
  • Experience designing secure systems aligned with SOC 2 Type II or similar compliance frameworks.
