Staff Engineer
Arclin
• Lead execution of Arclin Manufacturing’s most technically challenging capital and manufacturing improvement projects • Serve as the technical authority for assigned technologies, processes, or manufacturing systems • Develop engineering solutions that improve safety, reliability, operability, maintainability, quality, and cost competitiveness • Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams without direct supervisory authority • Approve engineering designs, equipment selections, process modifications, and technical specifications within assigned projects • Apply Operational Integrity principles throughout project development and execution • Identify, evaluate, and implement proven technologies that improve manufacturing performance • Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments, and execution strategies • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing Technology, Reliability, Process Safety, Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D • Lead technical reviews including HAZOPs, design reviews, constructability reviews, and commissioning readiness • Capture lessons learned and incorporate improvements into future projects
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
- Typically 20+ years of progressive engineering experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing
- Demonstrated success leading complex capital projects and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of process engineering, project management, process safety, and manufacturing operations
- Excellent communication and influence skills.
