Dietitian Nutritionist

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at Denver Wellness and Nutrition, located across the United States. Position will work remotely with excellent benefits and support our clinical locations to assist in clinical nutrition coverage providing patient nutritional care, providing counseling services to patients with disease processes that require nutritional management and impact on nutritional status. - Be responsible for providing professional guidance and education in nutritional management and diet counseling to patients. - Work closely with physicians and allied health professionals. - Counsel inpatient and/or outpatients and their families on nutrition as needed. - Market Sodexo services to grow the Sodexo Nutrition and Wellness Center. - Provide hours productively and maintain communication with the Wellness Director. Qualifications - At least 2 years of clinical experience with Clinical Care. - Experience implementing appropriate individual dietary regimes in conjunction with team/physicians. - Administrative skills, including completing reports and communicating for patient/physician awareness. - A comfort level with both teaching group classes and individuals on all nutrition aspects. - Excellent communication and listening skills. - Bilingual in Spanish is not necessary, but would be a plus to assist in managing the workforce/patient population as needed. - A Registered Dietitian credential. Requirements - Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). - For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). - Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire. - Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities, state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire. - Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision.
