Job Description

Technical Finisher, Custom Furniture

MyBox Marcenaria Moderna

• Review and finalize custom furniture projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with established standards • Collaborate with designers and sales/design consultants to ensure client specifications are fully incorporated into the final projects • Assess technical details such as dimensions, materials, and production methods to ensure manufacturability and production efficiency • Prepare the executive drawing/package containing all technical information for client approval and for assembly guidance • Work with the production team to clarify questions and ensure proper execution of the projects • Perform post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction • Monitor and carry out the assembly schedule • Perform final measuring at the client's residence

Job Requirements

  • Solid experience in the technical finalization of custom furniture projects
  • In-depth knowledge of materials, production methods, and technical standards applicable to the furniture industry
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software for custom furniture (PROMOB)
  • AutoCAD preferred
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required (degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred). - Experience working with students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or other special education needs — whether as a credentialed SPED teacher, paraprofessional, interventionist, or tutor. - Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and common accommodations (extended time, chunked instruction, multi-sensory approaches, etc.). - Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations. - Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online. - Ability to pass a background check. - Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace.
