The Role The Community Relationship Executive drives Zippy’s growth strategy by expanding and optimizing our partner network within the community channel. This role combines new business development and senior relationship management, serving as the primary growth and strategy leader for Zippy’s most important community operators. You’ll own the full partner lifecycle - from identifying and contracting new channel partners to onboarding new communities and driving long-term engagement and performance. Equal parts strategist, relationship builder, and operator; this position requires strong commercial instincts, process discipline, and executional rigor. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams to handle operator onboarding. What You’ll Do New Business & Senior Relationship Management Own new business development across Zippy’s community channel - identifying, engaging, and contracting new partners while expanding existing relationships through additional community activations. Serve as the senior relationship owner for key community operators, driving strategic alignment, revenue expansion, and long-term partnership success. Collaborate with leadership to define, execute, and scale partner growth strategies within assigned markets or portfolios. Lead strategic business reviews and performance planning sessions with enterprise partners to ensure alignment on mutual goals and growth initiatives. Analyze performance data to identify trends, barriers, and opportunities that increase loan applications and funded volume. Onboarding & Partner Enablement Manage the complete onboarding workflow for new partners and communities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely activation. Partner with Risk, Accounting, and Operations to ensure all onboarding requirements meet state and regulatory standards. Job Requirements
- Deliver process training and platform walkthroughs for new partner teams, ensuring confident adoption of Zippy’s technology and workflows.
- Coordinate collection and execution of legal amendments, financial documentation, retailer licenses, ACH information, and Power of Attorney for titling.
- Partner Lifecycle Optimization & Retention
- Own the partner lifecycle from onboarding through adoption and optimization, ensuring continued engagement, performance, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Originations Sales to activate partners through co-marketing initiatives, events, and educational content.
- Track partner satisfaction, identify risks, and develop retention strategies to ensure long-term success and origination process alignment.
- Drive engagement with Zippy’s digital tools to increase efficiency and consistency across the partner network.
- Performance Tracking & CRM Management
- Track and analyze partner performance through Salesforce and internal dashboards, reporting key metrics such as market share, application volume, and funded loans.
- Maintain complete, accurate partner and community data within CRM systems.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to leadership to guide forecasting, resource allocation, and strategic decisions.
- Internal Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with all departments at Zippy servicing as the voice and advocate for community partners to streamline partner onboarding, enhance workflows, and reduce friction.
- Contribute to the design and optimization of scalable onboarding processes, leveraging automation, templates, and CRM enhancements.
- Provide structured feedback to Product, Engineering, and Operations to inform technology improvements and strengthen the partner experience.
- Conference Strategy & Execution:
- Support strategic planning for industry conferences by evaluating which events to attend, coordinating sponsorships and logistics, securing and scheduling meetings, and owning the full travel and on-site agenda for the team.
- Ensure Zippy shows up organized, prepared, and maximizes every opportunity.
- Partner Portfolio Reviews
- Own and lead recurring partner portfolio, servicing, and credit reviews with key accounts, including agenda setting, preparation, and partner-facing presentation of key metrics such as delinquency, defaults, cures, roll rates, vintage trends, and overall portfolio health.
- Translate complex loan, credit, and servicing data into clear, actionable insights, facilitating discussion on the “why behind the numbers” and addressing partner questions in real time.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partner portfolios, coordinating follow-ups and action plans with internal transactions and sales teams.
- Monitor servicing activity and performance outcomes, identifying emerging risks, variances, or market-specific trends and proactively collaborating on mitigation strategies.
- Use portfolio insights to inform partner education, underwriting refinements, and operational improvements that support long-term portfolio performance.
- What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of proven experience in channel development, business development, or enterprise account management, ideally within fintech, mortgage, or SaaS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage both new business acquisition and senior-level partner relationships.
- Strong operational and compliance understanding, with the ability to manage documentation-heavy onboarding processes.
- Track record of driving measurable revenue growth through strategic relationship management and expansion.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities with precision.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM systems for tracking partner data and performance.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; comfortable influencing across teams and at the executive level.
- Background in mortgage lending, financial services, or manufactured housing is a strong plus.
