Role Description Ares Interactive is seeking a Senior ASO Manager to lead App Store Optimization strategy and execution across our growing portfolio of mobile games. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and creative ASO expert who can operate autonomously, build long-term ASO strategies, execute high-impact testing roadmaps, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, User Acquisition, Creative, and Live Operations teams. You will own ASO performance across multiple live-service titles, including globally launched games and titles currently in soft launch. You’ll be responsible for driving organic growth, improving conversion rates, increasing discoverability, and building scalable ASO processes that evolve alongside our games. Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, this is an opportunity to help define and build ASO practices at a rapidly growing game company. What you'll do - Own ASO strategy and execution across multiple mobile game titles - Develop and maintain comprehensive ASO roadmaps, priorities, and testing plans - Drive keyword optimization, conversion rate optimization, creative testing, and metadata strategies - Monitor and analyze storefront performance, category trends, competitors, and market opportunities - Build hypotheses and structured testing plans for icons, screenshots, feature graphics, videos, copy, and metadata - Partner closely with Product Marketing and User Acquisition teams to align storefront strategies with broader marketing goals - Collaborate with internal creative teams and external outsourcing partners to develop ASO testing assets - Analyze and report on ASO performance, test outcomes, learnings, and next steps on a regular cadence - Optimize App Store and Google Play storefront presence across all supported territories - Support soft launch learnings and global launch readiness through iterative optimization - Stay current on platform changes, featuring opportunities, best practices, and competitive trends - Help establish scalable ASO workflows, documentation, and operational processes Qualifications - 3-5 years of ASO experience in mobile gaming - Proven track record improving organic acquisition and storefront conversion performance - Deep understanding of App Store and Google Play ecosystems, ranking factors, and optimization strategies - Strong experience with ASO tools such as AppTweak and Sensor Tower - Experience building and executing structured ASO testing programs - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies - Experience collaborating with User Acquisition, Product Marketing, Creative, and external partners - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment Requirements - Experience working on live-service or free-to-play mobile games - Experience supporting soft launches and worldwide launches - Familiarity with mobile UA creative testing workflows - Experience with localization strategy and international storefront optimization - Knowledge of Apple featuring strategies and platform merchandising opportunities Benefits - Flexible time off policy with unlimited PTO - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage - 401K/RRSP - Remote-friendly with support for home office set up - Company Holidays including office closure between Christmas and New Year - Collaborative, data-driven, and fun culture where your work makes an impact Company Description Ares Interactive is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
