Facility Inspections Specialist
GMR Marketing
• Utilize GMR specific procedural standards to thoroughly and accurately assess and inspect facilities • Ability to efficiently operate GMR issued equipment, i.e., Light Meter, Measuring Wheel, Camera, iPhone, and tablet computer • Must be able to work 17 nights or days per month and travel by car or air 100% of the time • Responsible for inspecting facilities and accurately recording data • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner • Present oneself in a professional and respectful manner at all times • Responsible for booking a portion of travel arrangements i.e., air, hotel, car rental • Manage business expenses and accurately account for hours worked by entering time in the payroll system
Job Requirements
- Clean driving and criminal record
- Must be at least 21 years or older
- Proficient in MS Office applications, (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience as a physical security specialist, conducting analytic crime, threat or vulnerability risk assessments is a plus.

• Support agents/brokers with placing General Liability insurance coverage. • Evaluate and analyze risks for acceptability based on underwriting guidelines and individual risk characteristics. • Manage a profitable book of General Liability business including review of new business, renewal business, and mid-term endorsements. • Execute on deliverables for quoting/binding business based on Service Level Commitments. • Operate within a defined authority statement. • Exercise sound underwriting judgement as it relates to pricing, forms, applications, deductibles, etc. • Work independently with limited support and sporadically refer business to SVP of underwriting. • Mentor/develop junior level underwriters.
• Underwrite all coverages and classes we offer on both an admitted and non-admitted basis. • Work closely with our appointed retail agents and wholesale brokers to underwrite new business, larger renewals, and highly technical transactions. • Performance will be primarily measured by profitability, growth, and agency management. • Focus on key tasks that deliver results with the support of a team of underwriting assistants handling most post bind transactions. • Collaborate with the national sales team to appoint new agents and wholesale brokers, source new business submissions, and provide insights during the agency review process. • Utilize our proprietary software platform for rating, issuance, documentation, and workflow to simplify the underwriting process.
