Job Description

Grants Management Specialist

Looper

• Conduct administrative completeness reviews for grant applications • Review budgets, attachments, and supporting documentation • Enter and validate application data within grants management systems • Assist with panel setup and reviewer coordination • Troubleshoot reviewer and applicant issues via email and phone • Prepare grant-related files and documentation for upload and processing • Assist with funding recommendation documentation • Conduct pre-award budget reviews • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and visualizations for leadership review • Review interim and final performance reports • Track reporting compliance and overdue submissions • Identify risks, issues, or compliance concerns for federal review • Maintain monitoring logs and grant tracking documentation • Draft administrative correspondence for grantee outreach • Maintain and update grant management databases • Prepare datasets and internal tracking reports • Ensure data accuracy and integrity • Assist with monthly and annual reporting deliverables

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, public administration, accounting, library science, museum studies, humanities, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of federal grants management or grants administration experience preferred
  • Experience working with federal regulations including 2 CFR 200 preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Experience with grants management systems and database platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
