Mechanical Installation Technician
Probo Medical
• Installation, de-installation, relocation, and/or service upgrades of high value complex medical equipment in but not limited to hospitals, universities and Federal Buildings. • Up to 100% travel to customer sites throughout the country • Maintains integrity of confidential information • Maintains customer relationships, and comply with PROBO SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and policy, customer requirements, and statutory and regulatory guidelines • Responsible for following all safety OSHA guidelines • Maintains a safe work environment through safe work practices • To deliver a safe and timely installation to the customer • Assists the Team Leader with maintaining documentation in accordance with the PROBO SOP and customer requirements • Represents PROBO and the customer in a professional and courteous manner • Assists Team Leader with quality and compliance with the PROBO SOP, customer requirements, and ISO 9001:2008 (International Standard Organization) and ensures each process is followed by each team member • Assists the Team Leader with coordinating suppliers and helps with direct on-site deliveries of equipment.
Job Requirements
- Must Possess General Mechanical Ability
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to read Metric and Standard measurement and use leveling methods to complete related work activities.
- Provide and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain clean driving record.
- High School Diploma/GED, Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year university or technical school; or a minimum of 2 years of related experience to work activities or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Assists the Sales team by providing technical, clinical and educational/training support • New patient/customer product demonstration/training • Patient follow up and support • Assists ASR’s and RSM’s with sales lead generation • Partners with sales team in maintaining and enhancing client relationships • Serves as the primary resource for clinical support • Attends patient device implants and performs patient follow-up • Provides timely product follow-up and support to patients and physicians • Supports sales representatives by meeting with clients to identify their clinical needs • Ensures facilities have clinical literature and other marketing collateral • Provides support for industry conferences/exhibits/labs • Maintains open communication with all personnel and customers • Collaborates to educate and train physicians and hospital/clinic personnel
• Provides technical, clinical and educational/training support to the Sales team • Assists with new patient/customer product demonstration/training and follow-up • Supports sales representatives by meeting with clients to discuss clinical needs • Ensures facilities have clinical literature and other marketing collateral • Manages administrative tasks including patient documentation and data collection in Salesforce
