Ignite Learning Academy
• Deliver high-quality, engaging, and interactive online instruction in alignment with standards, curriculum, and student learning needs. • Be available to teach live during regular school hours. • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students in 1-on-1, small-group, and whole-class settings. • Build strong relationships with students and families, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment. • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback, grades, and academic support. • Utilize technology effectively, including Canvas, Zoom, and other digital resources. • Implement innovative teaching strategies to make learning engaging and accessible for all students. • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and academic goals. • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to enhance curriculum delivery and student success. • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and performance. • Participate in professional development opportunities and ongoing training sessions. • Host/Co-Host a club (virtually) and occasionally attend (in-person) field trips when they are geographically near to your location.
Job Requirements
- Must physically live in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid teacher certification/endorsement in special education (or teacher certification with special education teaching experience) (issued by any U.S. state)
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively use online learning platforms and digital tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with students and families.
- Passion for online education and a commitment to student success.
- Ability to create engaging, student-centered lessons that foster curiosity and growth.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Must reside in the United States full-time.
- Ability to pass a background check.
