Job Description

Senior User Experience Designer – Marketing Experiences

Autodesk

• Design and support end-to-end design initiatives that drive measurable impact across the marketing funnel. • Partner with product, research and analytics to translate business KPIs into clear, testable hypotheses and define scalable experimentation roadmaps that drive acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention metrics. • Define and evolve ecosystem-aware experience strategies that strengthen Autodesk’s multi-product customer journey. • Identify systemic friction across surfaces, design cross-touchpoint improvements, and contribute durable patterns that enable rapid experimentation without fragmenting the experience. • Design within complex, ambiguous problem spaces, bringing clarity to opportunity framing, solution direction, and execution.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional UX/Product Design experience, with a demonstrated track record of independently leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem framing through delivery and iteration.
  • Proven experience designing growth-focused initiatives with measurable business impact across acquisition, activation, engagement, or retention, including translating business strategy and KPIs into clear experience direction and structured experimentation plans.
  • Strong fluency in product and growth metrics, with the ability to define success criteria, interpret quantitative and qualitative insights, and continuously optimize experiences based on data.
  • Advanced interaction design and prototyping skills, with a commitment to high-quality craft and a track record of mentoring peers and elevating design practice.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design or related field.

Benefits

  • From health and financial benefits to time away and everyday wellness, we give Autodeskers the best, so they can do their best work.

• Design end-to-end experiences for core Chairside and Product Line workflows, including scanning and ordering. • Take ownership of scoped problem areas or features, executing designs from early exploration through final UI and handoff. • Ensure designs are clear, usable, and feasible within real technical and operational constraints. • Create thoughtful interaction flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that balance speed, quality, and user needs. • Apply design system components consistently, while knowing when a problem requires something new. • Sweat the details that matter for usability, accuracy, and confidence, especially in workflow-heavy, error-prone moments. • Work day-to-day with Product and Engineering to clarify requirements, explore tradeoffs, and iterate toward strong solutions. • Participate in critiques and design reviews with Senior and Staff Designers, incorporating feedback and raising the quality bar. • Communicate design decisions clearly, grounding them in user needs and product goals. • Participate in user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to inform design decisions. • Use feedback, customer support insights, and basic product metrics to iterate on shipped work. • Show curiosity about how your designs perform in the real world, and adjust accordingly. • Gradually take on more ownership over problem framing and solution direction with support from senior design partners. • Build confidence navigating ambiguity and contributing earlier in the product lifecycle. • Learn when to push, when to align, and when to ask for help.
