Job Description

Health & Wellbeing Undergrad Internship

National Center for Youth Law

• Assist with an important content migration project • Transfer legal "know your rights" material from PDF format into an online platform • Ensure accuracy and consistency throughout • Research novel issues related to youth law and policy • Support communications efforts by NCYL’s Health & Wellbeing Team • Create understandable, accessible materials to disseminate to the public about legal "know your rights" material • Provide administrative support to the Health & Wellbeing Team

Job Requirements

  • As of fall 2026, undergraduate student at a US college or university
  • Preference for junior or senior
  • Ability to commit 15 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks between September and November 2026
  • Knowledge of, understanding of, and commitment to NCYL’s mission
  • Experience and/or interest in youth health and wellbeing, including reproductive rights
  • Patience with methodical, repetitive work and a high standard of care and accuracy
  • Some familiarity with WordPress, square space or Wix
  • Strong proofreading and copyediting skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills
