Role Description We are looking to hire a Metals Trader. This is a remote role based in the West Coast of the US. - Expand the company's market presence and analyze the market trends. - Formulate strategies that are in line with the company's goals and market share growth. - Develop new accounts in the respective region and identify new growth opportunities. - Manage existing relationships with suppliers and clients by doing regular visits to client sites, as well as through emails and telephone calls. - Closely cooperate with procurement, logistics/customer service, and sales to ensure stable product supply and overall operational efficiency. - Perform inspection of material to ensure quality. - Work with suppliers to negotiate and settle quality claims within given parameters. - Understand supplier needs, solve problems, and improve supplier satisfaction & loyalty. - Monitor prices and market trends in order to talk intelligently to suppliers about the market and procure material. Qualifications - Experience in a similar commercial or logistics role in the metals sector (at least 3-5 years). - Strong commercial acumen / negotiation skills. - Availability for heavy business travel on a monthly basis. - High attention to detail with strong analytical and communication skills. - Adaptive to change, and ability to work under pressure. - Strong decision-making ability. Providers must be licensed in CT (with additional NY and MA licenses preferred) to work in the comfort of their home office or clinical setting to treat patients. The schedule will call for 9-hour shifts per week and must have weekend and evening availability. Providers will provide timely phone and/or video telehealth consultations exclusively to patients within the YNHH network.
