Job Description
Field Technician I
SGS
• Coordinate with vessel crews and port agents to schedule attendances • Conduct sampling and transport collected samples to the laboratory for analysis • Strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to maintain sample integrity • Prevent contamination and ensure accurate results • Work safely in port and industrial environments while following all relevant safety protocols
Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, microbiology, environmental science), or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years of applicable experience
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely
- Basic good laboratory practices (GLP)
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
