Job Description

Technical Services Specialist, Agronomist

Synagro

• Manage land base inventory to meet operational requirements and provide strategic growth for the business • Prepare permit applications and NMP’s as needed for sites • Analyzing various waste streams to determine their physical, chemical, and biological characteristics • Interpretation of soil, tax and topographical maps; and applicable regulations to determine land base acceptability and compliant product use for spreading residuals • Provide support to Technical Services and operations with coordinating pick-up and delivery of residuals and biosolids • Maintain farmer, client, and community relationships through clear communication

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Soil Science, Agriculture, Agronomy or Environmental Science preferred or minimum of two years’ experience in a related field
  • Capable of certifying in an agricultural science discipline such as crop evaluation, soil, ground and water evaluator
  • Proficient with MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Mapping Programs
  • Ability and willingness to attain knowledge of biosolids and other residual management practices
  • Ability to work weekends and holiday, as needed
