Director of Finance Integration – Operations
Marathon Health
• Lead and oversee the client invoicing and finance team, including prioritization, performance management, and teammate development. • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing processes across clients and lines of business. • Establish operational controls, quality standards, and performance metrics to support billing accuracy and efficiency. • Partner with Client Success, Technology, and FP&A and Finance teams to resolve billing issues and improve workflows. • Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, reporting, and financial readiness. • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and process gaps and implement scalable solutions. • Lead finance integration activities related to acquisitions, system implementations, organizational changes, and enterprise initiatives. • Drive process standardization, workflow optimization, and transformation efforts across Finance and cross-functional teams. • Partner with leadership to develop scalable financial models and processes that support growth and long-term organizational strategy. • Collaborate with IT, Product, Revenue Cycle, and Operational teams on system enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements. • Support change management activities including communication, readiness planning, stakeholder alignment, and adoption strategies. • Lead and support cross-functional finance initiatives from planning through execution. • Develop project plans, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and readiness activities for key initiatives. • Serve as a strategic partner across departments to align priorities, remove barriers, and drive execution. • Build reporting and governance structures to monitor initiative performance, operational metrics, and organizational impact. • Support executive leadership with insights, recommendations, and decision-making materials.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and a minimum of 7+ years’ experience in finance and/or accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Project Management experience
- Workflow enhancement experience
- Experience collaborating with billing, operations and technology teams
