Chiller Technician

• Perform planned and corrective service, maintenance, repair, and commissioning on centrifugal and large-tonnage water-cooled and air-cooled chillers (all OEMs). • Diagnose mechanical and control issues and implement effective solutions. • Complete service documentation accurately and on time. • Participate in the on-call/standby roster as required. • Provide guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to junior technicians and apprentices. • Foster strong professional relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders. • Comply with all company, safety, and regulatory requirements at all times. • Actively participate in technical training programs and service meetings. • Support business growth by identifying service opportunities and presenting solutions to customers.
Job Requirements
- Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- Current EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (or equivalent).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Solid experience with centrifugal chillers and other commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Positive, proactive approach to safety and technical excellence.

• Perform routine pool maintenance including vacuuming, skimming, brushing walls and tiles, and emptying baskets. • Test and balance pool water chemistry, adding chemicals as needed to ensure proper levels of chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and other water quality standards. • Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automatic cleaners; identify issues and perform basic repairs or recommend further service. • Clean and maintain pool decks, equipment areas, and surrounding environments. • Maintain accurate records of service visits, chemical usage, and customer interactions. • Communicate professionally with customers regarding pool conditions, maintenance recommendations, and any necessary repairs. • Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to protect yourself, customers, and property. • Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat. • Address and resolve customer issues in a professional and efficient manner. • Assist customers with product or service-related questions and concerns. • Document and track customer interactions and feedback. • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or supervisors. • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and their needs are met. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and company policies. • Contribute to the development of customer service processes and procedures.
