Senior Medical Science Liaison
Zevra Therapeutics
• Serve as a credible medical/scientific expert engaging with KOLs and HCPs to increase confidence in clinical decision-making for rare diseases and Zevra’s products. • Build deep, strategic, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders to be viewed as a trusted partner. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of disease states and competitive landscapes. • Stay current on scientific and clinical developments in Zevra’s Areas of Interest (AOI). • Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions and provide accurate, balanced medical information. • Engage in projects and initiatives aligned with US Medical strategy, objectives, and tactics. • Facilitate discussions with HCPs and potential investigators regarding research strategies and trial participation. • Represent Zevra at scientific congresses and medical meetings. • Educate internal teams on disease states, product science, and therapeutic guidelines. • Contribute to publication planning and medical information resources. • Capture and report HCP medical insights using Veeva with consistency and accuracy to inform medical and clinical strategies.
Job Requirements
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as an MSL or similar role in pharma/biotech for MSL level. Minimum 5 years for Senior MSL level.
- Must reside within the territory.
- Clinical expertise in Rare Diseases (experience in lysosomal, metabolic, or rare neurological disorders preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Business acumen and compliance awareness.
- Ability to travel 60–75%, including overnight and occasional weekends.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preferred Skills: Clinical experience and subject matter expertise in Rare Disease. Experience in lysosomal disorders, metabolic disorders, or rare neurological diseases. Interest or background in data science for advanced analytics and insight generation.

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives • Coordinate the daily functions of the parts operations, including procuring, ordering, backorders, core processing, picking and delivery of parts to internal and external customers • Process email and phone orders as well as sell parts over the counter • Ensure customers requirements are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner • Maintain the parts physical and electronic inventory and assemble hydraulic hoses to the Cat standards • Process all core returns and warranty parts
• Model the way for safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives • Ensure all employees comply with established customer safety rules • Provide excellent customer service as key contact for remote and field service requirements and work orders to maximize productivity of remote field service operations • Promote customer satisfaction, follow up on repairs and collaborate with other departments to deliver high level service • Train and coach team members to meet and exceed customer and business expectations by administering performance evaluations • Provide direction on financial implications of work orders including customer pay, warranties, claims, policies and redo’s • Create quotes and review and prepare invoices for internal and external customers • Manage work-in-progress (WIP) and contamination control • Investigate and report accidents or near misses • Identify and resolve issues by initiating corrective actions • Encourage continuous improvement for remote field operations through regularly scheduled meetings and associated training • Assist the PSM with the management of fixed assets and preparation for capital expenditures • Maintain maintenance on the fleet of field service trucks • Manage employees at the remote site location • Work with a sense of urgency and foster team efforts to encourage growth
