Data Visualization Specialist
Viamo
• Create clear, impactful visualizations of data, including reports and dashboards, utilizing tools like Google Data Studio. • Ensure the absolute accuracy and reliability of all built data products by proactively troubleshooting, debugging technical errors, and resolving data discrepancies. • Partner with the AVA Product Director to build master dashboards and visualizations that guide product roadmaps and commercial decisions. • Query Viamo data to answer specific questions about the performance of AVA across multiple countries, helping to unearth insights and interpret trends in complex datasets. • Map and analyze the end-to-end user journey within AVA to support the product manager to identify drop-off points, friction in the user experience, and opportunities to increase lifetime value or engagement impact. • Translate complex data architectures and statistical findings into clear, narrative-driven insights and commercial recommendations for executive stakeholders, commercial partners, and donors. • Guide the product team to plan metrics definitions and recommend approaches towards a unified approach to product measurement.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience working as a data analyst or in a related role.
- Strong expertise in SQL.
- Proven experience in dashboarding software such as Google Data Studio.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Proven experience working independently and effectively as part of a remote, global team.
- Degree in computer science, data science, or a similar field.
- Experience with data warehouse solutions like BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
- A passion for helping people in emerging markets through mobile technology.
