Field Data Specialist

ID Plans

• Independently drive or fly to commercial properties to capture precise data. • Use 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, and specialized software to document building measurements, sprinkler and HVAC locations, windows, signage, and landscaping. • Document utility meters, dumpsters, and parking details, as well as interior and exterior features requiring accurate documentation. • Communicate with property managers to gather access information for appointments and arrival times. • Ensure accuracy while inputting data after gathering it.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in mapping, property appraisal, inspections, GIS, data collection, data entry, land surveying, or outdoor, detail-oriented fieldwork.
  • Comfortable on ladders (up to 30 feet)
  • Use own reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 6-foot ladder and long-distance travel.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Use technology confidently (iPads, laptops, mobile apps, photography technology).
  • Follow detailed instructions with accuracy and care.
  • Stay focused, organized, and self-motivated while working alone.

• Own and manage the contract data domain, including standards for data creation, maintenance, governance, quality, and usage. • Define and enforce data structures, naming conventions, metadata standards, and business rules for contract-related data. • Lead the digitization of contracts and Statements of Work (SoWs) across all provincial programs, transforming unstructured contract information into structured and usable enterprise data assets. • Design and implement scalable processes for contract data ingestion, extraction, normalization, and validation. • Develop and maintain data models and data layers that support cost modelling, operational analysis, program reporting, and downstream applications. • Partner with legal, procurement, finance, program, and technology stakeholders to align contract data requirements with business needs and reporting objectives. • Ensure contract data adheres to enterprise data governance standards, internal controls, and quality expectations. • Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies or gaps, and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. • Support the deployment and utilization of data governance tools and practices, including data cataloguing, data lineage, metadata management, and data quality monitoring. • Contribute to enterprise data strategy initiatives that increase access to reliable organizational data assets and improve data maturity across the business.
