• Annual budget and forecasting • Completely responsible for the annual budget process and hands off to the International Controller and VP of Finance for final review. • Compiles data for revenue by item, cost of goods, royalties and commissions, department expenses, capital expenditures, cash flow and balance sheet. • Maintains the budget database and updates with any changes • Responsible for gathering assumptions regarding the budget for each company • Researches potential areas of improvement in budget control procedures • Prepares the five year forecasts • Prepares revenue and financial forecasts quarterly or as needed • Responsible for international financial statements. • Delivers statements to International Controller for review. • Assists VP of Finance with treasury matters

• Advise Product and Engineering across the entire product lifecycle: from concept and design through launch to marketing. • Translate complex legal requirements into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal teams — including documenting decisions, approvals, and open issues. • Support data protection/privacy matters in the product context, including international requirements. • Develop and refine standards and guidelines for the use of AI in products and internal workflows. • Create reusable legal templates, playbooks, and decision logic and integrate them directly into the legal-to-product process. • Act as Lead Counsel on financial product matters. • Negotiate and conclude contracts with payment service providers (PSPs) and partners. • Pragmatically manage payments-related issues (ZAG, AML, invoicing/tax implications, data protection in payment flows). • Independently draft and negotiate commercial contracts (vendor, partnerships, enterprise SaaS, marketing, consulting) efficiently. • Update Jimdo’s online Terms of Service when new features or offering models require it. • Provide legal advice and review content for marketing, social media, and customer service teams on customer-facing communications. • Advise management on risk allocation, business strategy, and policies — providing clear assessments of opportunities and risks. • Advise the Security team on implementing an ISMS from legal and privacy perspectives.
